My name is Billy Hart. I am husband to one wife. I am father of two daughters and soon to be one son. I am an associate and youth pastor at our church. I am blessed to work-at-home as a software developer.
The inMessment blog started in June 2010. I started this blog to help break up the monotony of working a regular job since 1996. I may never make enough to be able to quite my day job but at least I can share my passions and enjoy life more.
You have probably figured out that the name is a play on the word investment. Everything we do is an investment in one way or another. I try to invest my money, time and efforts wisely but sometimes it gets messy! My prayer is that inMessment will provide encouragement, hope, and practical help.
The following categories encapsulate the major passions of my life and form the framework that the inMessment blog will build upon (they are also a nice alliteration which doesn’t hurt):
Born in New Mexico, 1972; moved to Dallas, TX in 1991; graduated from Christ For The Nations Institute in 1993, associates in Practical Theology; married in 1994; graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 1996, Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems; started career as a Software Programmer; moved to Northern Ohio in 2002 to assist in family ministry; ordained as a minister of Christ in 2003; adopted our first daughter in 2004; started Youth Pastor role in 2006; adopted our second daughter in 2009; continuing ministry and to work full time in Information Technology to present.
Thank you for visiting the inMessment blog. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.
