The market of 2011 has been very volatile. My fear looks at the turmoil in the market and it wants me to pull my money out. My greed looks at the crazy swings and wants me to take crazy risks. What I need is to replace my fear and greed with patience and discipline. 
Monday, August 8, 2011 the market seemed to crash! And, to make it even worse, this happened after a couple of down weeks. What should I do now? Should I buy, sell or hold? 
It seems that way too few people are investing. I also think that most wait too long to start investing. We all know the reasons people don’t start investing: “I don’t have enough money.” “I am too young.” “I am too old.” “I don’t know how to start!” That last reason is the one I want help people overcome. 
The second quarter of 2011 has ended. Time to review my inMessment Game results and see how I have done. I will share the Good, the Bad and the Ugly events of Q2. 
I have been wondering for the last few years if ETFs are increasing volatility in the stock market. This seems even more acute in the commodities market for things like gold, silver, corn, etc. The recent high volatility in the silver market and the high volume of silver ETF shares seem to support my thoughts.

I have been getting really tired of hearing the radio guys report that “core inflation” is not bad. They always explain that “core inflation” does not include food and energy.
